More building than a summer house

A cabin gives you a deeper footprint, a heavier frame and a canopy you can genuinely stand under, with glazed doors running across most of the front. What that means in practice is a building that works as a room in summer and as proper dry storage the rest of the year, instead of one that gets emptied out in October.

What we mean by log cabin

Worth being straight with you here, because the term covers two different things. Interlocking solid log buildings are a different product with different thicknesses and settlement to allow for. Ours are framed timber cabins in 15mm tongue and groove on a tanalised frame. Lighter, cheaper, quicker to put up, and a lot better suited to a Merseyside garden than a 44mm log building that wants relevelling every year.

Insulating it later

The frame is deep enough to take insulation between the studs if you decide you want it all year round. Doing it while we build is cheaper than going back in afterwards, so if there is any chance you will want heat in there, say so when you order and we will line it from the off.

Ground and access

Cabins are heavy and wide, so the base matters more than it does on a shed. Flat and firm is the requirement, and existing concrete or slabs are ideal. Access matters too. The panels are wide, so check your side gate before ordering, and tell us if the only way in is through the house.

Delivery and fitting

Included across L1 to L40, CH41 to CH66, WA8 to WA13 and PR8 to PR9, on a day you pick. Two fitters, base checked and levelled, old building gone if you need it shifting.
