Our timber garden office is a proper room at the bottom of the garden, built for working from home, a hobby space or somewhere quiet to get away from the house. It’s a big step up from a shed, with a heavy 60×40mm frame, a breathable membrane behind the cladding, a rubber roof and big anthracite uPVC sliding doors that let loads of light in.
Out of the box it’s a solid, dry garden room. If you want to use it all year, add our insulation and internal cladding option and it’s ready for a desk, a heater and an electrician to run power to it.

About this shed
Is it insulated?
Not as standard, but you can add full insulation with internal cladding in the options. The vapour barrier is already built in, so it's ready for it.
Can I add a side window?
Yes, you can add a side window in the left or right end.
How is it different from the composite garden office?
This one is clad in tanalised timber and is lower priced, with insulation as an extra. The composite office has maintenance free cladding and comes fully insulated with a plastered interior and the option of electrics.
Does the roof need re-felting?
No, it has a Firestone EPDM rubber roof that lasts much longer than felt.
How tall is it?
About 8ft 6in, so it feels like a proper room.
Do I need planning permission?
Often not in a back garden. But at around 8ft 6in, if it's within 2m of a boundary it'll be over the 2.5m limit, so it either needs to sit 2m away or you'll need permission. Ring us and we'll help you check.
Can I have electrics?
You'll need your own electrician to run power to it. It's best to have that sorted for when we install it, and we're happy to chat it through with them.
